New build house in the Derbyshire countryside, granted planning permission through the National Planning Policy Framework paragraph 55 clause on the basis of innovative and exceptional design The 3 bedroom house provides 300m2 of accommodation over three floors of destinct forms in brick, timber, and metal. The long rectangular forms are rotated in plan to create a cross with a triple height glazed atrium space at the centre. The design of the house is Passive House plus accredited and also designed to the now defunct Code 6 for Sustainable Home, which was the Government's highest standard of sustainable housing design.
