Housing Development at Wilford Lane, West Bridgford, Nottingham
A low energy housing development in the flood plain of the river trent for a private client. The scheme is to demolish a 1950’s house on the site and replace it with two new houses, one of which will be a new home for the client and the other will be sold for someone else to develop. Both homes are designed to be ultra low energy, with super insulation to walls, roof and floors, triple glazing, MVHR ventilation systems, and heating via an air source heat pump. The houses are elevated a storey height off the ground to comply with the environment agencies flood risk strategy, and also to take advantage of the stunning views down the river. This has allowed parking and garden storage to be sited under the dwellings. The houses are due for construction during 2020.
Due to commence on site : March 2020
